LBJ at nike sport festival

Billed as the "most comprehensive sporting event China has seen since the 2008 Olympics" the Nike Festival of Sport kicked off in Shanghai.

The event, is aimed at encouraging youth to use lebrons shoes sport to help change their lives, and to help inspire them...Nike brought out the heavyweights at Thursday's opening.

The 26 year old two-time NBA MVP, the crown jewel of the Nike collection and the centre-piece of the sporting showcase's opening day.

Lebron, wowing the fans with his skills on the court. joining Chinese hurdling hero Liu Xiang at an exhibition race and then leading a who's who of stars under the sporting giants umbrella at a gala kick off.

Lebron, on message throughout encouraging youth in China, to use sport to reach their goals.

LeBron's appearance on court perhaps, the last time Chinese fans will see him in action for a while as there has been no movement on the NBA lockout front. James says he's optimistic cooler heads will prevail and is monitoring the situation.

Wrapping up on Sunday and free to the public, the Festival will also include cheap lebron 11 a skateboard demonstration featuring Paul Rodriguez a three-time X-Games street gold medallist and numerous interactive activities.
